TITLE: Journey beside (My)self
My project was formed by my idea of self perseverance and learning. This is why my theme(s) revolves around the idea of a person beating there own obstacles, instead of relying on another to help them achieve it. This is going to be a common thing through-out my project and it is going to challenge the idea of needing someone to help you go over or achieve an obstacle/goal. It is also going to develop a deep connection with the audience because of the issues it talks about. Mine is going to be a lot like a message that will not only get a point across, but to also help the audience themselves.
Specific Themes I plan on using in my project:
- "The only person stopping you from achieving greatness is yourself"
- "Failing is what paves the way for growth"
- "Achievements can be small but your growth is fuel for more"
- "Sometimes when in a dark, dark time, the only person that can help you up is yourself."
This project is what I plan to be kid-revolved for now since I believe that it will show the early struggles of childhood like wanting to fit in. It is going to set a clear tone of longing for something normal, something with purpose to the character. Also it develops the sense of showing an understanding of a child growing and figuring out the ways to deal with their own problems, rather than if they were coddled. Overall, my plans for this project are going to be very big on child-development and it's going to include a lot of common issues. Stuff like self doubt, self-perseverance, and more.
